PRODUCT OWNER – AGENTIC AI, Global Delivery Simplification Managing Director

**ROLE OVERVIEW** We are hiring a Managing Director to lead the strategy, delivery, and scaling of agentic AI across global operations within Global Delivery Simplification. Leading multiple cross‑functional PODs, the role owns the end‑to‑end agentic product portfolio across Fund Accounting, Middle Office, Transfer Agency, and Custody, with full accountability for business value, risk posture, and sustained performance in a highly regulated environment. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** • Set the vision, strategy, and priorities for agentic AI across global operations. • Own business outcomes: efficiency, capacity, quality, client experience, and risk reduction. • Shape the product portfolio, roadmap, and investment cases, sequencing the highest‑value opportunities. • Lead cross‑functional PODs and develop senior Product Owners, with clear accountability for outcomes. • Own end‑to‑end lifecycle governance: controls, auditability, explainability, human‑in‑the‑loop, and escalation. • Decide when to scale, pause, remediate, or retire agents based on performance, risk, and value. • Partner with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Data, and Technology leaders to drive enterprise alignment. • Report value and risk outcomes to executive forums and represent GDS on AI strategy and regulatory engagement. **SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES** • Senior product leadership: portfolio strategy, investment governance, and organizational influence. • Sound judgment balancing automation ambition with operational, regulatory, and reputational risk. • Deep expertise in Fund Accounting, Middle Office, Transfer Agency, or Custody. • Strong grasp of agentic AI risk, monitoring, and control design, plus data governance and model risk. • Executive communication and influence across business, technology, and control functions. **EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS** • 12+ years leading products, platforms, or transformations in regulated financial services operations. • Proven ownership of enterprise‑scale automation or AI portfolios, scaled into BAU. • Extensive engagement with risk, compliance, audit, and regulators. • Experience in product‑centric, agile organizations at scale. # **About State Street** Across the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
