CIO - Chief Information Officer

**About the role** Abenson Ventures, Inc. is seeking a visionary and strategic **Chief Information Officer (CIO)** to lead our information technology initiatives and drive digital transformation across the organisation. This is a full-time position based in **Quezon City, Metro Manila**. As CIO, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive IT strategies that align with our business objectives, overseeing all technology operations, and ensuring robust cybersecurity and infrastructure management. This role is critical to our company's growth and competitive positioning in an increasingly digital marketplace. **Key responsibilities** - Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organisation's business goals and supports sustainable growth - Oversee all information technology operations, including infrastructure, systems, applications and network management - Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernise business processes and enhance operational efficiency - Manage IT budgets, resource allocation and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal technology investments - Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures to protect the organisation's data and systems - Build and lead a high-performing IT team, providing mentorship, professional development and clear strategic direction - Collaborate with senior leadership and business units to understand technology requirements and deliver solutions that drive business value - Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery planning, with regular testing and updates - Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and relevance to the organisation - Report regularly to the Board and executive leadership on IT performance, risks and strategic initiatives **What we're looking for** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field; Master's degree preferred - Minimum 12-15 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a CIO or equivalent senior IT leadership role - Proven track record of successful IT strategic planning, digital transformation and business process improvement initiatives - Strong expertise in enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks and data management - Excellent understanding of IT governance, compliance requirements and risk management practices - Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate large, diverse IT teams - Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels - Experience managing significant IT budgets and vendor relationships - Knowledge of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing and automation - Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, PMP or similar are advantageous **What we offer** Abenson Ventures, Inc. is committed to providing a rewarding and supportive work environment.
