Chief Manager

**Job Title :: Head – Application & Production Support** **Experience:** 15 + Years **Qualification:** BE / B.Tech / MCA **Role Overview:** We are looking for an experienced IT professional to lead Application & Production Support operations for critical financial market systems. The candidate will be responsible for managing large support teams, ensuring smooth functioning of live applications and handling critical technical issues. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage a team of 20–30 professionals, including Managers and Team Leaders. - Manage day-to-day IT operations and production support activities. - Ensure smooth functioning of critical applications and systems. - Handle application failures, technical issues and production incidents. - Plan and manage software deployments in live production environments. - Coordinate with development, infrastructure and business teams. - Ensure timely resolution of incidents and adherence to SLAs. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. - Manage vendors, operational risks and contingency planning. - Monitor team performance and ensure process compliance. **Required Skills & Experience:** - 15–18 years of experience in IT Operations, Application Support or Production Support. - Experience managing a team of at least 10 members. - Strong understanding of Linux, Shell Scripting, SQL, PL/SQL and RDBMS. - Knowledge of Java/C, ITIL framework and ServiceNow. - Experience with ITRS or other monitoring tools. - Understanding of TCP/IP, UDP and Multicast protocols. - Strong experience in incident management and production deployment. - Experience in vendor management and operational risk management. - Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
